Student - Student Affairs Office Assistant
General Description:
The Student Affairs office has an opening for an Office Assistant in August 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk and phone coverage
- Assist with filing and data entry tasks
- Assist with copying, sorting, and shredding materials
- Schedule appointments as needed for the office
- Conduct research and compile information as requested
- Make deliveries to other campus offices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Office
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Number of hours per week: 10-20
Schedule: Varies week to week
Number of positions available: 1-2
Rate of Pay: $8.25
